New Nigeria Foundation (NNF)

NNF is the lead NGO overseeing the day-to-day implementation of the Participatory Partnerships for Community Developement (PPCD) programme. NNF's programmes place strong emphasis on the development needs of the country and the resultant empowerment of its citizens. At the heart of NNF's programme is the principle that sustainable development requires the participation of all stakeholders responsible for the well-being of members of a given social unit. Public-private partnerships are the ways NNF translates this core principle into concrete programmes and projects. To find out more, Click here

Morgan Smart Development Foundation (MSDF)

MSDF is one of the Participatory Partnerships for Community Developments (PPCD) NGO partners involved in the planning and implementation of the programme. The greatest assets of MSDF, is its drive to contribute its own quota to improving the landscape and engender sustainable community development in the Niger Delta region. The NGO partners with governments, multinationals companies and international donor agencies to achieve its set objectives. To know more, Click here

Leadership Initiative for Transformation and Empowerment (LITE-Africa)

LITE-Africa formally known as Niger Delta Professionals for Development (NIDPRODEV) is another partner of Participatory Partnerships for Community Development (PPCD) helping in the planning and implementation of the programme.  LITE-Africa is a Nigerian non-governmental organization (NGO) operating in the Niger Delta since 1999. Its current program focus is on good governance, the security and development nexus at the community level, capacity building, and livelihoods. Its activities include community assessments and data analysis, organizational capacity assessments and capacity building, training workshops, mentoring and mediation, and socially inclusive collective action for positive change. Self Help and Rural Development Association (SHERDA) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) formed by a group of Nigerian social and development workers and other professionals in 2000.  The  organisation is dedicated to helping the poor (especially in rural areas) in need of Economic Empowerment, Human Capital Development, Health Care, Basic Education, Functional Literacy, Capacity Building Programmes, HIV/AIDS Prevention Education, Small-scale Enterprise, Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Conservation and Protection, Environmental / Social Impact Assessment and other basic needs.

Regional Development Committees (RDCs)

The RDCs are the major development partners to PPCD. There are bodies of elected members of the community which oversee the community development activities in their respective areas. There are a total of 5 RDCs curtting across 3 states (Bayelsa. Delta and Ondo) in the Niger Delta where CNL operates. The RDCs include:
